Green Street Car Park in Jersey demonstrated how hydrogel durability systems can be used on both existing concrete and new construction.
When the States of Jersey carried out a major renovation of this inner-city multi-storey car park, AQURON 7000 colloidal silica hydrogel treatment was specified for over 13,000 m2 of concrete to control chloride levels and mitigate corrosion on the decks and façade panels.
The rapid application process of this treatment saved significant disruption for the car park operators.
This is part of the CIVIL-TECT approach, which extends infrastructure service life and reduces ongoing maintenance costs.
